Parent Hub
Kit orders, absences and leave requests all go through the Parent Hub. One passcode covers your whole family, so if you have more than one child here you only sign in once.
Open the Parent Hub
Add it to your phone’s home screen and it behaves like an app. On an iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
| Order kit | PE t-shirts and hoodies for each of your children, with names or initials added. The price updates as you choose, and you see how the printing will look before you order. |
| Report an absence | Tell us when your child is unwell or has an appointment. It reaches the office and senior staff straight away, and you get a confirmation email. |
| Request leave | Ask for leave in term time. The request goes to the Head Teacher and you are emailed once a decision is made. |
| Your details | Change your name or email address. If an email address changes, the old one is notified. |
Passcodes are issued to each family by the school. If yours is not working, use the forgotten passcode link and it will be sent to your registered address — or ring the school rather than struggling with it.
The school day
| Time | |
|---|---|
| Gate opens | 8.30am |
| Bell | 8.50am |
| Registration closes | 9.00am |
| Break — Lower School | 10.20am to 10.40am |
| Break — Middle and Upper School | 11.00am to 11.15am |
| Lunch — whole school | 12.00pm to 1.00pm |
| End of the school day | 3.15pm |
Children arriving after 9.00am should come to the office so that we know they are in the building.
Talking to us
The quickest route is almost always your child’s class teacher. For anything urgent, ring the school — do not rely on email being seen the same day.
- Telephone: 0116 222 0792
- Email: office@ecsleicester.org.uk
- Something urgent about safety: ask for Andy Harris, Designated Safeguarding Lead.
If we are worried about your child, you will hear it from us early and in person. We would ask the same of you.
Reports and consultations
You receive a written report each year and are invited to consultation evenings each term. From September 2026 you can also see your child’s assessment information as it is recorded, through Go4Schools, rather than waiting for the report.
Go4Schools
Signing in for the first time: click First-time user, enter the email address the school holds for you, and you will be sent a link to create a password. After that you sign in with your email address and that password.
If the email does not arrive, check your junk folder. If it still does not, ring the school — it usually means we hold a different address for you.
